All bass midrange transducers feature large 3" hexagonal
voice coil windings. This eliminates the air gaps found
in circular wire coils enabling KSI loudspeakers
to handle high power with very wide dynamic range. Our
28mm treated fabric dome tweeters feature the same hexagonal
winding and ferrofluid cooling for very smooth high frequency
reproduction. Crossovers utilize very low tolerance components
for inaudible transitions at the crossover point, and
our baltic birch cabinets are so tight and heavily braced
that buzzes and rattles are unheard of.
Series III Reference Monitors are also available
in shielded versions for use in close proximity to television
monitors, as well as all KSI wall and ceiling mount
configurations.
