The KSI 8081-CSD 2x2 grid ceiling mount loudspeaker
is a high fidelity loudspeaker designed for today's digital
environment.
The 8081-CSD offers smooth midrange performance with
powerful bass response through the use of our optimally tuned
passive radiator. Our 8" transducer provides superb voice reproduction
for greatly improved intelligibility not found in competitive
loudspeakers. Coupling this to our 1" titanium dome tweeter
gives the 8081-CSD outstanding clarity and coherence
along with wide frequency response and moderate power capacity.
To further enhance the low frequency and midrange performance
of the 8081-CSD, we have included our anti-resonance
fabrication for the backbox enclosure. Our state of the art
CNC machinery gives us the ability to produce an incredibly
strong, vibration free and low weight enclosure, which greatly
improves sound quality over the entire spectrum. The front baffle
is precisely angled to render accurate imaging and spatial detail,
which assures faithful reproduction of dialogue and complex
digital audio when used in a left, center and right configuration
for video. Since the 8081-CSD only protrudes 10" from
the ceiling, its sure to stay out of the way.
