The KSI 212-BP is a dual 12" bandpass subwoofer
system. It has been designed for efficient high impact bass
response within a limited frequency range. KSI's three
chamber bandpass design allows maximum output in a modest sized
enclosure. Applications include AV systems, special effects
and high end home theater.
The KSI 212-BP features two of our high power 1258-8
12" cast frame transducers. We designed these drivers to
produce very smooth extended low frequency reproduction in a
compact enclosure. A heavy magnet structure and 4 layer vented
voice coil assures ample heat dissipation when high electrical
inputs are applied. Achieving high output bass reproduction
is routine when combined with our optimally vented bandpass
enclosure. All KSI enclosures utilize our state of the
art CNC machining techniques. Our enclosures are manufactured
to the tightest tolerances and are flooded with glue at all
joints to assure an air tight and vibration free cabinet. Since
an air tight enclosure is so important to quality bass reproduction,
all KSI transducers are sealed to the baffle with silicone
sealant. As always, all KSI loudspeakers may be used
in combination with the 212-BP, providing unlimited solutions
for your audio environment. Finally, all KSI loudspeakers
are completely assembled, saving you precious time and money
for fast and easy installation.
